An unsettled debt will grow due to the fees that are added when the original amount is not paid on time. When we send out the debt collection letter, a fee of 180 SEK is added. If the claim is passed to the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogdemyndigheten), a further fee of 640 SEK is added. This aligns with both Swedish collection law and the original purchase agreement. This is why it is important that you contact us as soon as you receive a letter. Together we can agree on when and how you will settle your debt.

Receiving a debt collection demand is not the same as receiving a negative credit remark. A debt collection demand means that since the original invoice was not paid on time, you are required to pay an extra collection fee and interest in addition to the original amount. If you pay the full amount before the debt collection due date, your future credit rating will not be affected.
